Antioch Writers' Workshop offers free mini-workshops on a variety of creative writing topics the second Sunday of most months (adjusted for holidays), 2:00-3:30, at Books & Co. at The Greene in Beavercreek, Ohio. PLEASE NOTE: Occasionally we have to adjust the time in consideration of Books & Co. events; please check our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/AntiochWritersW, to verify dates, times, and programming.
These workshops are designed to provide participants with a brief introduction to a creative writing topic. Since January, 2011, we've covered topics such as how to set writing goals, how to use social networking to promote your writing, how to research subject matter for your writing projects, how to infuse romance into your writing (no matter your genre), how to apply poetry writing techniques to all kinds of writing, and more.
Please note that we do not hold these mini-workshops in December (due to the holidays) and in June, July, or August (due to our major event of the year--our Annual Summer Program).
No reservations are required for the Sunday Free Writers' Seminars, but expressed intention to attend is appreciated. Call Books & Co at The Greene at 937-429-6302 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
